Here's another one I messed around with

Photo Editing

The wedding is come and gone now and I've been expirimenting with my photo editer and seeing what I could do with some of the images. I'm new at it so it doesn't look that great yet but what do you guys think?

24 Days!

24 days away! I remember when it was 6 months away thinking it would never come but now it's just around the corner! I'm way excited but also way stressed out. There's just so much to do and not that much time or money to do it. So far this is all I have to do for the wedding:
-Decorate Ashlee's basket
-Buy a ring bearer pillow for Mason
-Buy a hair piece
-Buy gifts for my bridal party
-Book hotel room for Shaun and I
-Figure out if we can afford honeymoon and where we are going
-Get dress altered
-Make sure my bridesmaids have dresses
And I think that's it! There's also much to do that doesn't relate to the wedding but it needs to be done. We need a place to live! Shaun and I have been looking to rent a house with Katharine, we all need places to live and it will be cheaper than getting just a one bedroom apartment for Shaun and I, no joke. If you want a nice apartment you better be expecting to pay over 800, just for a stinkin' one bedroom! So I'm hoping we can have something set in stone before the end of the month so I can get that off my mind.
Other than that, the job I'm in right now just isn't working out. I'm not making as much money as I was hoping to make and the money I do make soooo isn't worth all the work I put into these transcripts. I'm guessing 75% of the tapes I receive are muffled, staticy, or just plain bad. So I have to invest a lot more time in them if I want to do a good job and I'm getting paid barely anything for it too. If I wanted to make enough money to support ourselves, all I would be doing is nonstop work 24/7. I'm just not fast enough at this I guess. So I think I'm going to have to go back to the grind and find a 9 to 5 job that's low stress enough but pays a lot more than this less than minimum wage joke I'm getting paid right now! Problem is I can't do that until after we get married because they probably won't give me the time off that I need for the wedding. So that means we're going to be strapped for a month or two but hopefully I'll find something that I can live with and bring in enough for us.
Alright, back to work. Adios!

Another post finally!

Sorry, I know we're not very good at updating but life has been keeping us busy! I've been job searching, trying to find something that I would actually like (no customers or call centers!) and Clarissa told me about her job as a transcriptionist and I tried looking for something in that field. Most of the companies want people that are experienced, but I was lucky enough to find one that excepted entry level candidates, I was given a typing test, spelling test, and homonym test and I passed! So I start training tomorrow, and after training I'll be working from home. I'm very excited and I think it will be something I can do long term while I'm pregnant and have kids at home, so we'll always have extra income coming in.
Wedding plans are coming along, last weekend Jenn volunteered to take our engagement photos and they turned out very nice! We love them! Thank you!

That's just a few of them out of many, we're still decided which picture to use for the invitations. We'll be making our own invitations too probably to cut down on costs. If anyone has any good ideas let us know! We appreciate all of the help.

Mason's Birthday!

Last week it was Mason's, Shaun's son, 3rd bday and Shaun and I, Ashlee and Mason all celebrated by going to Peter Piper Pizza! We had a lot of fun eating pizza, playing games, being goofballs, and winning prizes!

Later on at home Mason got to open his presents and got a helicopter, race track, and a lego truck. He loves legos!

And no birthday is complete without a cake of course so I baked him a chocolate cake.

Alright well I'm not that great at writing blogs but I'm good at posting pictures so here's more pictures of the kids!

If you click on the pictures they should get bigger.

Valentine's Day

Alright, we got the blog up and running so now we can join in on the fun! YAY!
For Shaun's Valentine's Day surprise, I snuck over to Shaun's house during the wee hours of the night and heart attacked the outside and inside of his truck, I have a spare key haha! Then I tied a balloon onto the side mirror and left him some of my "homemade" cookies with a note on top! Here are the results:

The next morning I woke up to find that Shaun had also tied a balloon to my car and left me a huge stuffed hotpink dog and a rose:

Needless to say, we were sugared-out the next day, but we recoverd quickly in order to win the weight loss challenge!!
This past Saturday, Shaun treated me to a Broadway showing of Rent, which was another Valentine's gift. We ran into Brad there and he gave us the hook up! He hooked us up with free drinks and found us some better seats, at no extra charge! Thanks Brad! It pays to know someone in the business haha. Here's a picture of Shaun in his attire for the show that I took because I think he's soooo cute!
